From June 15th through June 22nd we will host a fundraising exhibition featuring artwork created by KS Lack for her hybrid chapbook, Kyivsky Waltz: a love story.

On May 25th, MoonLab 42 will host the works of natural dyer Bowerbird with their latest textile series Spring Ephemerals. Pieces are inspired by the quick emergence of Spring blooms and the short life cycle in which to experience their splendid beauty and color.

From May 27th to June 3rd our dear friend Dimitri Mais will present a documentary photography project "Land without Shadows" which he captured during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the serene and desolate landscapes of Coney Island's boardwalk.

Our lovely neighbor, a Puerto Rican self-taught photographer Jules Miranda will present her ten-piece collection of photos Unforeseen Beauty. Please join us in in her celebration!

Brooklyn-based Portuguese graphic artist Carolina Moscoso, who is a master of depicting the mundane lives and twisted, lived-in interiors, will show ten pieces of her work at MoonLab 42!

MoonLab is turning 2! To celebrate our big date, we will be relaunching our shop with a new look and hosting our first Georgian artist Masholand. Please join us for some Georgian wine and meet the artist.

MoonLab 42 will be hosting our second art show, featuring the works of the Brooklyn-based illustrator Phil Ashworth. The seven-piece solo exhibition was inspired by Phil’s cross-country trip from New York to Colorado and reflects his view on America’s journey.

We are delighted to announce the opening of the first art show in our store! Arif Qazi’s Rites explores the rituals we construct for ourselves: “The story is an investigation into tradition and power, a Jungian look at the archetypes and the hero’s journey. How do tradition and our beliefs give us power? How do rituals strengthen our societal bonds?”
