Spring Ephemerals

  • MoonLab 42 405 West 145th Street New York, NY, 10031 United States (map)

We are so pleased to host an exhibition of your favorite natural dyer Bowerbird in our tiny art hallway! The series Spring Ephemerals is inspired by the quick emergence of Spring blooms and the short life cycle in which to experience their splendid beauty and color.

The exhibition will take place from May 25th  through June 1st, with an opening event on Saturday, May 25th from 4:00 to 7:00. Attendance is free and open to the public.

About Bowerbird

Bowerbird is the creative practice of Linda Bower. Much like the resourceful bird, Linda curates and forages natural plant materials with which she uses experimental dye techniques to create one-of-a-kind textiles. Each piece is slowly and thoughtfully made in her Brooklyn, NY studio.

Drawing on her background in interior architecture, Linda developed a passion for the use of natural materials and how they shape and color the environment we live in. Now with a focus on the human scale, she explores the relationship of ourselves within and to that same environment
